This NYT article is worth a read. For some strange an inexplicable reason, they got things right.

So…..the more I think about it. The more I learn about the Ukraine thing. The more I think Trump was right and pursuing the national interest to ask that Biden and Burisma looked into deeper. The thing that is HORRIBLE about much of US politics is exactly this. That politicians are elected and then get very rich as a consequence of their office. The list is very long. Both parties do it. And it sucks. Because they are getting rich by selling some part of our national intreats to somebody. Sometimes…if not often…. it is a foreign nation or party. And this simple example of Biden’s son getting millions of $$ for being on this board just reeks of this type of corruption.
From the NYT article:
"Ukrainian prosecutors took an interest in possible corruption involving Burisma Holdings, the company that paid Hunter Biden tens of thousands of dollars per month to serve on its board, long before Mr. Trump became president. And the Obama administration, including Vice President Joseph Biden, used America’s clout to influence Ukraine’s government. The questions about these relationships that Mr. Trump has pressed Ukraine to answer were matters of established public concern. A president has a right to seek answers about them, whether or not doing so has collateral implications for an election.”
Also from the article:
"These norms, and the corruption inherent in “business as usual,” are not just abstractions but find embodiment in politicians like Mr. Biden and Hillary Clinton, as well as John McCain and the Bush family. They are personified as well in much of the permanent bureaucracy — the “deep state.”
And….the more I think about it. The more I think it may. Have been very smart to use Giuliani as a go-between.
-
Giuliani and Trump have a long relationship. They trust each other much more than they could trust embedded bureaucrats. As the countless leaks from the Trump administration have proven….there are many “deep state” bureaucrats that think they need to oppose Trump. BTW…..I don’t think this is just because Trump is Trump. But it is because Trump wants to do things different than they were done before. I would suggest that Bernie Sanders, Andrew Yang, Tulsi Gabbard would all have the same embedded resistance because they would pursue paths different from what the deep sate bureaucrats want to pursue.
-
Giuliani was a prosecutor that went after the mob. He actually knows something and has experience in working to combat embedded corruption.
Using a party that he trusted, like Giuliani, was the highest probability path to success at getting to some of this embedded corruption in our political machinery.
The Clinton Foundation has 10% of the donations now form 2015. To think that these donations were because of the good work the foundation was doing is naive. The Clinton Foundation is the poster child for corruption in the US political system. It is so blatant.

The Clinton Foundation 2018 tax statement shoes this revenue:

Lets compare this to 2014 and 2015:

If this is not embedded government corruption then what is it?
The more I look at this…….The more I think about it….the more I want Trump to do EXACTLY what he did.
This is actually what it takes to drain the swamp. I hope he gets there. I hope that people can not make hundreds of millions of dollars by serving in office and selling out our country.
You can tell Trump is over the target when you watch what panics the Dems the most.
why cant more people think like you?
They can. We just need to help them connect the dots. They are being fed MSNBC/CNN/NBC/ABC....crap. But with a little logic and a little actual data...they can.
