I think most people here believe that because of the quarantine /r/The_Donald is going to decay and get banned but I'm worried about another possible fate of this subreddit, something more damageable, it could be subverted.
I've observed such thing on /r/futurology :
You have a nice and normal community, and someday out of the blue something is off with this community : people are not talking about the same subjects as before, you have environmental posts all day long, societal concerns pop up, then they are updating you about democratic candidates and praise China regularly… Meanwhile you can't post any criticism they remove your comments, and don't bother downvoting their communist content, fresh new posts are already upvoted 20 times…
I think they are going to take over /r/The_Donald, they have the perfect rule (not that they need any but it seems more legitimate) for that https://i.imgur.com/97aQJ5u.png They are going to say that shadowman3001 has abandoned /r/The_Donald for its side project, replace the mods, and just silence any opposition.
If they are taking over /r/The_Donald, it could become a Donald Only By name, sure it won't criticize GEOTUS openly but they are going to define the main subjects of the subreddit and /r/The_Donald could contribute to their leftist narrative and in definitive it could shine a bad light on GEOTUS.

I'm more concerned about Sharia Blue trying to get this site shut down because free speech terrifies those fascists. They can no longer run to to their good pal spez. Expect them to register fake accounts, post racist shit, screenshot their posts, and send it to their propagandists in the media in an effort to make President Trump look bad and get the site shut down.
Same. I hope the admins give an update regarding how this site could survive if the communists try and shut it down.
Generally pretty easy to refute unless you want to believe that stuff anyway. What DOES need to happen is the registry and hosting should move to epik.com(or other ‘free speech-defending’ site), so that we know it won’t be blacklisted/removed.
You do raise a valid point though. Leftists are ramping up an ever-increasing array of tools in this ‘information warfare’ phase of a cold civil war.
The media are nothing but DNC propagandists at this point and they have brainwashed half the country. They would think nothing of broadcasting lies about this place to try and hurt President Trump and get it shut down. Yes, a lot of people have woken up to their bs, but a lot are ignorant sheep.
