Greetings freedom-lovers! I’ve made this brief report of the situation here in Scandinavia, while trying to collect some of my thoughts regarding the media/tech situation, taxation and regulations, immigration, Trump, and the many evils of Marxism. A big thanks to the devs for setting up this site, so very refreshing to come here where I can breathe and talk freely.
The insanity of the cultural revolution combined with the CO2-hysteria we have been witnessing for a while is starting to collapse, as it becomes clearer and clearer every day it has nothing to offer the common man but more taxes and regulations without any kind of added benefits in return. The plan of the green commies is to save the globe by impoverishing Europe through punishing taxation and regulation. That will help exactly nothing, and I seriously hope an economic crisis is soon forthcoming as that will quickly bring an end to this folly.
By attacking the most productive part of the population and industry, this strategy will soon prove self-defeating as it basically cuts the tax revenue lefties and governments are so very fond of. Tough not until the country is run into the ground, if only as a matter of principle. In true Marxist style they will blame “the rich” and structural injustices for their own mismanagement and ideological blindness.
The will of taxpayers to contribute to a society where many are seen to only take are seriously tested these days, as large groups are not contributing, and some are even actively working against their host nation. The ethnic Swedes on the other hand, are told by the media and government officials, they are to blame, as they are such racists. But enough is enough, it seems, as recent news reports have the national conservative party leading the polls, making me think it still is hope for Sweden.
Judging by the sad state of the media around these parts, one easily gets the impression of a nation gripped by CO2-hysteria, rampant political correctness and a never-ending struggle against the impure thoughts arising from patriotism, self-reliance, and by not loving the EU or immigrants unconditionally. Seriously, only the weakest minds and children with very little life experience are moved by this, I hope.
As these self-loathing Marxists seldom are found outside creative professions, academia or their respective political organizations, this leaves an impression of a well-coordinated and very vocal minority. In no way should they be regarded as representative of the popular will. On the contrary, I’d say, as they show themselves totally out of touch with how ordinary working people are living their lives.
Quite rightly, Mr. Trump declared war against these "fake media", and behold, it must be working! Those who still regard mainstream media as news, and not as propaganda, are becoming fewer by the hour. Though we still have to struggle with a situation where political extremists have been allowed to entrench themselves, effectively taking control of the dissemination of information and the knowledge production in important parts of our society.
This must neither be endured or tolerated. I am sure most of us, as this very forum is living proof of, have noticed both an increase in censorship and attempts at more authoritarian control in society at large, specifically aimed at curbing free speech and the right to privacy. Their control, however, is slipping. When you always sell the same stories, showing such blatant bias you needn’t even open the paper to know what’s in there, it is no wonder more and more are rejecting this nonsense by turning their backs to the very institutions, once regarded as beacons of trustworthiness and objectivity.
Even this the Marxists managed to destroy. I realize the situation here vs. the USA is not fully comparable, but be aware, everything they touch turn to ashes. The same story unfolds in every socialist utopia, as the only way to make Marxism work is by suppressing much of what is regarded as normal human behavior and emotions, and the only way to achieve this is through authoritarian control by eliminating all notions of privacy, family and property.

Life in Europe will steadily get worse, even if the tide of migrants is turned back. Your economies are in recession. Germany's industry is still focused on mechanical engineering, not information technology engineering. Europe's market is protected from American goods by insanely high tariffs that were put in place to rebuild European economies after World War 2, and were never removed. Those will come down when President Trump insists on a new trade deal with Europe. America has been shouldering the burden of Europe's defense, but that is being reduced. Europe is a First World continent, so it can pay for it's own defense from now on. Change is coming, Europe, and it will be expensive for you.
Norway luckily is outside the EU which just is out of touch with reality. They are fast making themselves irrelevant in the World. Fiscally mismanaged, indebted, over taxed, over regulated, undemocratic is how I would describe that organization.
As for defense, I would love nothing more than a huge increase in that particular budget post. Instead of spending hundreds of billions on useless immigrants, we could give our forces a massive boost!

You mentioned that people seem to be waking up and conservatives are making strides, so it’s nice to see a very rare ray of sunshine from the Scandinavian situation.
That being said, the damage already done by your failed immigration policy is totally irreversible, and only worsens with each passing day of the status quo. Hopefully political sentiment changes before it’s too late.
Sometimes I joke "Stalin would know!" But seriously, Sweden needs to get it steel back, put some politicians behind bars for their criminal negligence and repatriate or enforce assimilation by force if they are still hoping to save their country. Most importantly, they need to feel the support of their leaders, get some patriotic fervor going and get on with making babies! Same applies for the rest of Europe!
