People can also see that he has lost his spirit and sense of fun/humor.

Old Jim Carrey is someone you'd want to hang out with... new Jim Carrey, no thank you. People pick up on that. I think he is probably gather more votes for Trump then the opposition at this point. Same with potty mouthed Deniro who cannot string together a coherent argument but just rants like a lunatic.
