The biggest mistake the left made was to use the courts to say peaceful aspies can't talk to women. The aspies that haven't broke through severe abuse have become machines rebelling against the systems. Hang Biden for VAWA under 18 u.s. Code ss 241 & 242.

For what? Are we really that desperate for anything to cling to as far as good news? These people work for a company that is drawing a lot of negative attention, they are getting a ton of messages and attention that they don’t want so this is what they do. What does this prove and why would we need to send this to the appropriate authorities? Jesus Christ are we desperate for good news around here. You think the government doesn’t know who works there? Do you think we need to get this information to the white hats as if they don’t already know who these people are? Come on. This is depressing at this point.

13
MagyarLadyPede 13 points ago +13 / -0

What does it mean when it says "linked in member" instead of their name? Ive never seen that before.

15
The_Bloofy_Bullshark 15 points ago +15 / -0

Some people hide themselves to searches. I believe you can circumvent it with a paid account. It’s usually used to stop salesmen from cold calling the employees.

I know a bunch of IT guys who block theirs out so they don’t get sales calls from people canvassing LinkedIn.

5
MagyarLadyPede 5 points ago +5 / -0

Ah! Thanks for the details! I appreciate that, never knew that was an option hahah.

7
DaesDaemar 7 points ago +8 / -1

You can get good job offers from LinkedIn also, so if you're not happy with your current position you can set yourself as "looking" (privately) and recruiters can find you. Nice feature to be able to hide as well as flag yourself as looking.

3
MagyarLadyPede 3 points ago +3 / -0

4
The_Bloofy_Bullshark 4 points ago +4 / -0

It’s really helpful if you use LinkedIn.

One of my buddies worked for a major company that sells IT solutions to corporate entities. They actually trained them on how to canvas LinkedIn for people to pester.

Start with people like the maintenance manager and try and use them to get you up to high level decision makers!

You can imagine how this can be a pain in the ass.

2
Balanor 2 points ago +3 / -1

You can simply change your settings. You don't even need to be a 'Premium' member.

4
The_Bloofy_Bullshark 4 points ago +4 / -0

Oh I don’t even use LinkedIn anymore since it became more like a clickbait Facebook for people who consider themselves professionals.

Nuked my account. Most of the people I work with in my field don’t even have them anymore. Granted, most of them have 20-30 years experience at my company and a decade more in the field so they don’t really have to go look for connections. They meet them at CES, talks, similar types of groups or just by getting a good word put in.

Also, I got tired of people trying to get me to attend Bitcoin investor meetings (I invested in 2011 by building a rig, mined a ton, sold a chunk of that when they were worth thousands of dollars each, I don’t want to attend an event where half of the people are feds 😂 - seriously the regulars play a game called spot-the-fed at our local one).

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +2 / -0

LinkedIn is THE WORST place to put such sensitive data. If you pay for an account you can scrape anyone’s data. Gathering all the info related to your livelihood in one neat little package...

What could go wrong?

Only suckers use LinkedIn. Suckers and soon to be victims of cyber crime.

17
SethRichsgoldwatch 17 points ago +17 / -0

This aswell as it is literally their only chance. If they didnt do it Trump just wins am easy landslide. This is their last ditch effort. It all comes down to this and Trump has been preparing for this for years.

11
sordfysh 11 points ago +11 / -0

The fraud is protected by the CIA when it's done in foreign countries. It's protected by the CIA in this case, too. They don't need to be careful when the CIA covers for you. They figured that the CIA was ready to cleanly depose Trump.

What they underestimated was the power of the American people. They thought that if Fox made a leftward jump in the 11th hour that their viewers would be unable to coalesce around another news source in time for the court battles and they would just do Bush v Gore again. Their pride was their own downfall. They thought that the American people were stupid sheep. It was just projection.

TDS is really the death rattle of the establishment deep state.

2

I truly think this is normal for them, but they had to get much more blatant this time. Covid was too effective, people's lives were too disrupted, so too many people came out for Trump, which required a heavier hand. So now it's impossible to cover up.

1
my_pw_is_password 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think they likely provided very expensive consultancy training on how “not” to configure the software. They probably covered their asses absolving themselves of any and all responsibility. The fraudulent code path was likely part of the “testing” / “simulation” libraries, never to be run during a real election ;-)

I see you are new here. We had well over 6 million regulars, as reported by Reddit's ad selling department until we discovered they were lying to us about our numbers and selling their ads at the real rate. That number is likely significantly higher now that we are on our own site.

1
KickingPugilist 1 point ago +3 / -2

I don't think so. Even with fudged numbers we had far higher vote counts and comment counts on reddit.

There are a lot of us, but I don't see it being 6m+

We certainly are growing fast though.

There were regularly posts with thousands of comments.

What happened w gamer gate? Nobody archived stuff? I wasn’t red pilled when it happened so I didn’t understand it tbh

16
generated_name 16 points ago +16 / -0

We archived everything during GamerGate. The idea was to give give the sites (corrupt gaming media) as little traffic as possible.

9
DWSage007 9 points ago +9 / -0

Also because corrupt journos would keep editing their stuff to make it seem like they'd never done anything wrong.

12
Loiuzein 12 points ago +12 / -0

We archived a lot, and it saved us a lot of times. Lots of people who'd done nasty stuff tried to sweep it under the rug.

I don't think we ever got anything actionable going, but lots of pills handed out thanks to being able to link to archives instead of the updated, bleached versions.

4
Jaybird91 4 points ago +4 / -0

What exactly happened w gamer gate ? I don’t trust search engines to take me to an honest version of the story

10
JustHereForTheSalmon 10 points ago +10 / -0

Everything is still terrible.

Most games review sites and "journalists" are in the pockets of big industry, trading perks for good reviews. No doubt sex for favors is still commonplace, and the clock keeps getting reset when "feminist allies" are found out to be pedophiles. Cultural Marxism is the big push. They control the Metacritic scores, which are often tied to publisher bonuses to the developers, so there is incentive to pander to the SJW crowd.

Even worse, major footholds in Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo by the SJW crowd have made games, well, see one example for yourself if you've got 7 minutes. Games are now retroactively patched for tranny "rights". Women are now made to look as manly and ugly as possible. White CIS men are always the villains. Plots usually have some ham-fisted anti-Christian or anti-Trump screed in them.

That crowd has mostly moved on to ruining comic books and tabletop games. The latest retardation is how Orcs in D&D are racist against black people.

5
Rufus_Shinra 5 points ago +5 / -0

I've been a big gamer since the 90s. I just got the latest issue of Game Informer in and they have Spider Man on the front who is now some black kid and nearly all the main characters featured in the magazine were women. Female role for AC Valhalla and that other Ubisoft game Fenyx Rising. Even though you can choose male or female, and reporting showed over 2/3s of players chose male in A.C. Odyssey, I noticed they always force the female role in any representations of games these days, even though the percentage of women who play these games is a tiny fraction compared to men.

They also showed a poll showing how only 20 percent or less females work at big gaming devs. Gee, let's see a poll showing how women dominate the nursing and care industries next. No shit, men and women are different and naturally gravitate towards different careers on average.

End rant.

Basically some girl slept with journalists in exchange for positive reviews of her shitty tumblr Choose Your Own Adventure, and anyone who criticized the obvious corruption was labeled a misogynist and kicked out of everything. No one in the establishments took a principled position. It coincided with tumblrisms getting a strong foothold in gaming but I don't know enough to say there was a causation either way.

After that major revelation there was more hunting for similar corruption and all (or nearly all?) findings were dismissed out of hand. GG has essentially become a movement advocating for equal treatment by criticizing inequality.

That's my gut-feeling memory with no sources so grain of salt :)

https://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/ is a good resource even though it's on reddit.

What do you mean by gamergate?

1
BlightBane 1 point ago +1 / -0

You might be young, GamerGate went down in 2014-2015. I am copying my reply here that I gave to somebody else:

I do not know how much time you have on your hand, so here is a short and funny animation that is fairly accurate: https://youtu.be/STl7-_f4_eA

This article is also fair I would say: https://arcdigital.media/almost-everything-you-know-about-gamergate-is-wrong-c4a50a3515fb

And the KnowYourMeme article is also OK: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/events/gamergate

Or old lol

I'm a gamer, have been for the last 30+ years, but I don't stay current with new games cuz they're starting to become too weird for my taste.

I knew about Gamer Gate but I figured it was just another stupid social media hype until I saw your post. I said to myself that I owe it to myself to finally learn what TF GamerGate is all about.

Now this really explains everything on why I thought pretty much every new game I come across was weird for my taste...

Preach, brother.

You would have fit in with us nicely!

42
geocitiesuser 42 points ago +44 / -2

correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this admissible in court as 'incriminating or suspicious behavior' ? If they are hiding / deleting en masse, isn't it legally allowed to assume they had bad intentions?

29
SocalPede 29 points ago +31 / -2

It sure is enough evidence for a FISA warrant, which I'm 100% sure is already in place.

6
GEOTUSMAGA 6 points ago +9 / -3

Probably not tho

6
my_pw_is_password 6 points ago +6 / -0

FISA’s are only to spy duly elected Presidents, last time I checked.

5
skygz 5 points ago +5 / -0

FISA's a rubber stamp, you can get one on your grandma to find out what she had for lunch last Tuesday if you claim Russia's involved. You never know what they're putting in that borscht.

No, a linkedin profile or any social media profile is just a username on a big tech site. But it's not good for your resume, people will remember this name for many years to come.

12
geocitiesuser 12 points ago +13 / -1

I'm not so sure about that.

Social media is used as evidence as the norm now. Not just in big cases.

You know how all those people on twitter say horrible outrageous violent things? Try it, as a normie, on a "real" account, and you run the very real risk of your local police or state police knocking on the door.

It just takes one person to send an email to the right person. Unfortunate truth.

9
nomoremasks 9 points ago +10 / -1

Yes, what I was referring to is the fact of deleting your personal account doesn't count as suspicious behavior in court. The companies still retain logs of your activities and actions, and can be handled to court if asked for it.

I'm a digital forensics investigator.

3
geocitiesuser 3 points ago +3 / -0

I wonder if linkedin would fight it if the courts asked for the user log for those people. They could lie and say they don't have it anymore.

But you know what dems can't refute?

Screenshots of content that can be verified across multiple eyewitness accounts.

The left keeps crying there is no evidence. Witnesses are evidence!

1
pictureBigger 1 point ago +2 / -1

LinkedIN is just a place to publish your resume and connect with your colleagues and network with others in your industry. Nobody chats about nefarious shit on there.

3
geocitiesuser 3 points ago +3 / -0

People post a lot. It's a bit like twitter or facebook, only they think they are staying "relevant" by reposting articles or making op eds

Serious. Go log in.

1
pictureBigger 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah it's definitely a facebook for professionals. I'm saying I highly doubt Dominion employees on LinkedIn are chatting or posting about the ability of their machines/software to modify/delete/swap votes.

3
IronSpector 3 points ago +3 / -0

I was wondering if Dominion was publicly traded. Stock prices plummeting and trending down is a good indicator on who thinks who is wrong. Take the challenger disaster, stocks plummeted but recovered of all the companies involved. Almost like “we got our asses covered, investors come back!” Guess which company didn’t recover: Morton-Thiokol, the company that made the o-rings that failed and ultimately led to the shuttle exploding.

6
geocitiesuser 6 points ago +6 / -0

The idea of a foreign company who's parent company is venezualan, that is publicly traded on the stock market, making ballot counting software, sounds like a moral, legal, and dystopian nightmare.

2
IronSpector 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah it was a long shot but considering how much laziness we’ve seen there may be a different indicator

1
white_rabbit 1 point ago +1 / -0

Dominion is a private company

2
M28_20 2 points ago +2 / -0

I mean, they could try, but this could be defended by a 10 year old.

"Well your honor, I deleted my linked in account because I was afraid of receiving death threats or other harassing messages considering the news surrounding my company of employment. No I have not received any yet, but I wanted to get a jump on it before any over zealous voters decided to start searching out employees for the company I worked for."

So yeah, a prosecutor could try to put anything forth as evidence. But deleting a social media profile would amount to less than nothing. I say less than nothing because a good defense attorney would spin that for a jury pretty easily, and make the defendant seem like the victim in the case.

People use linkedin still?

18
Based_psychologist 18 points ago +18 / -0

I use it for work. I didn’t find it very useful until I got into 1) a white collar career and 2) mid-career where networking has taken a more critical role.

8
Unobtainium 8 points ago +8 / -0

I second this. As an engineer, I’ve found it very useful for business networking and job searching. It also serves as a great easily-findable resume.

7
MakeAmericaLegendary 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'm unwilling to dox myself over it, personally.

5
Based_psychologist 5 points ago +6 / -1

My professional info is intentionally public, so I guess I don't view it as doxxing. Keeping people from finding you for bad reasons also keeps them from finding you for good reasons (business opportunities). Now tying this profile to my work profile? Yeah, that'd not be okay. But I like the odds, and am confident in my ability to land on my feet even in the low chance someone decides to run a public smear campaign against me. There's a reason, even anonymous here, I don't write anything that I wouldn't be prepared to publicly defend if push came to shove.

5
MakeAmericaLegendary 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'd be just as concerned about hacking/social engineering than doxxing. LinkedIn is a wealth of data.

3
alcowiggles 3 points ago +3 / -0

5
scypher 5 points ago +6 / -1

I've got job offers (and maybe my current job? can't remember) from there too, so it's worth it, but unless I'm looking for a job I barely even bother to login every few months or so.

2
GhengisDon 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah I get a TON of leads from LinkedIn and I'm always flooded with calls whenever I update my resume on dice.com as well. Landed the contract I'm on now from LinkedIn though. If you're in the tech sector at all and have some big company names in your work history the recruiters flock to you.

What privacy do you specifically lose using LinkedIn?

I personally just have my resume (with address and phone numbers ommitted)

4
MakeAmericaLegendary 4 points ago +5 / -1

All information on someone is additional ammo to perform some malicious activity. As someone who does offensive security for companies, I've used LinkedIn several time to scrape valuable data from employees.

2
usa_foot_print 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thats true. My companies name is right there. Good point. What is offensive security?

2
excaliboor 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's a marketing tool. Every social media is just that and should be used as such.

1
g00se2k 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's a pretty good networking tool, but by no means "necessary" to find and hold down a job. Kinda like how it's not "necessary" to have a cell phone, but it makes life a heck of a lot more convenient.

2
istrucktheboard 2 points ago +2 / -0

What do you use instead?

2
james43552352345 2 points ago +2 / -0

3
shaven_llama 3 points ago +4 / -1

I suppose we can feel a little bit bad for some of the low-level office staff that probably had no idea what was going on. A little bit bad.

Software Engineers have no excuse. When I see 'WTFs' in any code base I'm working on - I ask questions. Sometimes there's a valid explanation. Sometimes it's incompetence. Sometimes it's evil.

1
LibDestroyer50000 1 point ago +1 / -0

The people who coded this software were probably sent to school specifically. Find someone you can control, make them learn to code, voila.

Yes, panicking and deleting your social media accounts is not suspicious at all. It's not like any data you put on the internet is archived or stored somewhere.
