I've been lurking on T_D on Reddit since 2016. I've never posted. I've never commented. All because I didn't want to be banned elsewhere or have people in other subs go through my history and just immediately brush me off.

There are so many of us. The majority of T_D viewers on Reddit are silent. This site is going to explode.

I lurked TD for years, creating multiple accounts, only to abandon them for fear of losing my cushy civil service job. I moved on and now I’m free. Post away, it’s liberating!

PS - I personally know at least 20-30 people who are still in that boat, either working civil service for a university or working in Hollywood. There are many, many more than even we realize.
